Welcome home, congratulations and thank you to the incredible and inspiring team who completed a challenging Arctic Trek for CHAS last week.
The three day trek in northern Finland was definitely not for the faint hearted as according to event organisers Breaking Strain, conditions were the most extreme ever experienced on the trail.
Well done to the RBS Operational Risk team who have been running, walking, baking and everything in between to raise funds for CHAS. Their year long fundraising efforts have totalled an incredible £12,828.57.
Nic Houldsworth has helped spread the joy this Christmas by raising an incredible £2916. With the help of The Dragonfly agency who matched his fundraising, they raised an amazing £5832!
We are proud to announce that an independent report by Children in Scotland has recognised that we are improving delivery of, and access to, palliative care through our work in hospitals and communities. They also recommend that our approach should be extended across Scotland.
To mark Trustees Week 2017, we speak to one of our Trustees, Peta Hay, MD of Saxton Bampfylde’s Scottish Office, to find out why she got involved with CHAS.
