About CHAS

We're a children's charity providing palliative care

CHAS provides unwavering care to children who may die young and their families, at every step on this hardest of journeys.

We support young people pre-birth to 21, and their whole family, in hospices, children’s homes, and in hospitals.

We are there for families at every step of the way

Our staff and volunteers deliver exceptional care to meet their needs, choices and wishes. By working in partnership with health and social care, we strive to provide seamless care across settings.

We are there for families at every step of the way, supporting them in life, death and beyond, and our ambition is that no-one should face the death of their child alone.

We’re a charity, funded in part by the government, but also by the kind and generous donations of thousands of people across Scotland who care about helping families make the most of the time they have together with their child, no matter how short. This means that as a children’s charity we can offer these services for free.
