The CEO heads up a team of six directors

CHAS’s Senior Leadership Team, or SLT, is made up of six directors. Each brings a wealth of expertise and experience to guide our teams to realise the objectives of the CHAS plan and drive CHAS’s ambition of reaching every family in Scotland who need us

Rami Okasha

Rami took up the role of CEO in February 2020. He is responsible for providing strategic leadership of the organisation, and for ensuring that CHAS fulfils its legal and service responsibilities.

Dr Annabel Howell

Dr Annabel Howell is the Medical Director to CHAS. Annabel ensures that CHAS collaborates with others to provide high quality, child centred, family focussed care for children with life-limiting and life-shortening conditions and their families.

Jen Rodgers

Jen is Director of Nursing and Family Support. Jen leads all CHAS’s nursing and family support services, directing teams of staff working in hospices, hospitals and within children’s own homes across Scotland.

Iain McAndrew

Iain is the Director of Income Generation and Engagement Iain leads on the transformation of CHAS fundraising and communication with the introduction of CHAS "Keep the Joy Alive" brand positioning. This includes the magical and unique award winning CHAS alphabet designed by the children and families who CHAS support. In addition, Iain provides oversight to Ardoch Loch Lomond gifted to CHAS in 2021 supporting its 'Profit with Purpose' commercialisation.

Morven MacLean

Morven is the Director for People and Strategy. The Directorate comprises of HR, Volunteering, Learning and Development, and Strategy and Programme Development functions.

Jane Smith

Jane is the Chief Operating Officer. As Chief Operating Officer, Jane is responsible for ensuring resources are directed and prioritised to best meet the needs of children and families.
