We started Ava’s fund so that family and friends could donate. It was a way of saying thank you for supporting our family. Sadly Ava passed away in 2022, but we were determined to keep this going in her memory. As a family we have great fun bringing people together to celebrate Ava’s life, and everyone feels great that they are able to do something.
CHAS has been there for our family in good times, but also some of our hardest times. I am extremely proud and humbled to know I will be helping families like ours through their own best and worst times.
Tommy was such a special boy with a unique personality. We hope that no-one has to use CHAS, but if they do we hope they can get the help and support that our family got. By fundraising it ensures CHAS can keep the joy alive within families and it also makes people aware of the charity and what it is all about and by fundraising it keeps Tommy’s memory alive.
We respect every family’s choice in how they celebrate and remember their child.
