CHAS’s Senior Leadership Team, or SLT, is made up of six directors. Each brings a wealth of expertise and experience to guide our teams to realise the objectives of the CHAS plan and drive CHAS’s ambition of reaching every family in Scotland who need us.
Dr Pat Carragher (MB ChB, FRCPCH, MRCGP, Diploma Palliative Medicine, Diploma of RCOG) is Emeritus Medical Director to CHAS.
Pat ensures that CHAS is at the forefront of care in Scotland for children and young people with life shortening conditions, and that the care offered remains absolutely child-centred and family-focussed.
Sue is Director for Children and Families.
Sue provides strategic leadership to the clinical and care teams delivering care services provided by CHAS. Responsible for leading the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care across all settings, she ensures CHAS is part multi-agency approach to the care of children and their families.
Iain is the Director of Development and Communications.
Iain leads on the transformation of CHAS fundraising and communication with the introduction of CHAS “Keep the Joy Alive” brand positioning which includes the magical and unique CHAS alphabet designed by the children CHAS supporters.
