Peta brings a career in retail and leadership development to the Board. She convenes the CHAS Trading Board.
Four years ago Peta joined Saxton Bampfylde and now works with clients such as Harrods and the V&A Dundee on projects from leadership development to executive recruitment.
Peta has spent much of my career within retail in a variety of roles including Operations Director and Group Talent Director at Tesco and Leadership & Development Director at Walmart. Much of the work she did was for the international markets which was fascinating and extremely varied.
As a youngster, Peta spent time living in New Zealand, Australia and England before settling in Edinburgh. Here she met her husband John and they have two children, Grace and Hamish. She now lives in Falkland which means she can indulge her passion for history, the village is often used as a film set, most recently for The Outlander series. The surrounding forests also allow for her enthusiastic but amateur efforts of running.
Put simply, CHAS is an amazing organisation with a team who are passionate about what they do and the support they give. It is critical that CHAS is there for every child and family who needs it and I am deeply privileged to be part of the team striving for this.
