Faraz Hussain

Since graduating with an Accountancy degree, Faraz has spent the majority of his career within the financial sector; starting initially within retail banking, and now specialising in investment banking. In particular, Faraz’ most recent work involves managing the settlement of financial trades between established investment firms.

Whilst undergoing his career in financial operations, he is currently working towards his certification with the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment organisation.

Faraz has grown up in Scotland and is based in Glasgow's south side with his wife and his two young children.

Faraz has had a long-standing relationship with CHAS prior to his involvement as a trustee. He was the older sibling of a child that received support and kindness from the charity and thus cares deeply about the work CHAS carries out.

Being an older sibling of someone who has received the amazing support of CHAS, I have witnessed first hand the difference the charity and its staff can make to families. I am privileged to be part of this exceptional team and to now be directly involved in helping the charity to manage and meet its goals.
