Sahara Desert Trek 2025

Experience the beauty of one of the largest and most breath-taking deserts in the world.

This Sahara trek in Morocco gives you an insight into this vast and diverse landscape as well as the Berber way of life. You will spend two full days and two half days trekking across ancient dried up river beds, sand dunes and vast sun-baked plains creating memories to last a lifetime. Camping each night gives you a chance to experience the stunning stars in the night sky and the traditional Berber cuisine cooked by the team is second to none.

The trek is challenging, meaning it is designed to be physically demanding but achievable with a good level of fitness and training. The days will be hot and the trekking will be tough, but unrivalled support is on hand to help all team members conquer this mammoth desert!

Dates:

• Return flights from a UK airport to Marrakech
• Challenge date: 5 March 2025, and return on 10 March 2025
• Activity Duration: 5 Days
• Challenge Duration: 3 Days
• Distance: 40km of trekking (approx)
• Accommodation Type: Hotel and camping on trek
• Challenge Grade: Challenging

Cost:

There are different payment options for the trek, either:

• Option A - Minimum Sponsorship – Pay a non-refundable registration fee of £350 and agree to raise a minimum of £1685 for CHAS. At least 80% of the minimum sponsorship is required to be met no later than 12 weeks before the challenge
• Option B - Self-funding – Pay a non-refundable registration fee of £350, plus £985 in trek costs paid to Different Travel Company no later than 12 weeks before the challenge. With this option you can commit to raising as much money for CHAS as you can, or set your own fundraising target!
