Ben Nevis at Night Trek, 19-20 August 2023

Head torches at the ready – experience Scotland’s highest peak after dark and take on Ben Nevis as part of a night trek!!

This overnight hike is the perfect weekend adventure to take on in support of children across Scotland with life-shortening conditions!

Guided by torchlight, trek overnight for 4-5 hours to the summit of Ben Nevis (standing at an impressive 1,324m) in time to see the sun rise over the Scottish Highlands, before making your descent with stunning views of the surrounding landscape on your way to a well-deserved celebratory breakfast!

This trek is graded Tough (Grade 2) – a challenge for those with previous experience in hill walking involving demanding terrain, achievable with prior fitness training. A full training guide will also be available upon registration.

Cost:

There are two options for trek payment:

  • Minimum sponsorship - secure your place with a non-refundable registration fee of £65, and a minimum sponsorship agreement of £290 for CHAS. (80% of minimum sponsorship required no later than 12 weeks before departure)
  • Self funding - secure your place with a non-refundable registration fee of £65, £145 to cover your trek costs and your own fundraising target for CHAS (challenge balance due no later than 12 weeks before the challenge date).
