Joanne is Head of Finance for Reporting and Accounting with Heineken UK.
After 20 years working in financial accounting and risk roles in the Financial Services sector, Joanne changed sectors and joined the Fast Moving Consumer Goods sector with Heineken UK in August 2024 as Head of Finance for Reporting and Accounting.
Joanne is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and studied English Literature and French at the University of Glasgow.
Joanne lives in Motherwell with her husband and three children (two daughters in high school and a son at university), along with Cleo the dog. Both daughters are keen dancers so weekends and evenings are often spent as a dance mum. When Joanne does get some precious free time, she enjoys socialising with friends and family, long walks with Cleo and travelling. Joanne is a member of the Church of Scotland and sits on the kirk session and Finance Committee at her local parish church.
I first became involved with CHAS when they were a corporate charity partner for one of the banks I worked with. At that point, I was regularly involved in corporate fundraising and volunteering for this organisation and was always exceptionally impressed and humbled by the dedication, compassion and enthusiasm of everyone involved with CHAS and its services. I am now incredibly privileged to serve on the Board of this inspirational and collaborative cause which provides whole family support during the most difficult of times.
