Jacquie Pepper
Jacquie Pepper is Chief Officer for Health & Social Care in Perth & Kinross
Jacquie has responsibility for leading the delivery of integrated health and care services in Perth & Kinross and in this role is a Director of both NHS Tayside and Perth & Kinross Council.
Previously, Jacquie was Depute Director of Education and Children’s Services, Chief Social Work Officer, and led the development of the Joint Inspections of Services for Children in the role of Head of Inspection for the Care Inspectorate.
As an Inspector in HMIE for six years, Jacquie played a key role in two rounds of inspections of services to protect children across Scotland. She has also held a number of professional and managerial roles in social work and children's services in a number of local authorities in Scotland and in Wales.
CHAS is a very special charity reaching out to all families in Scotland who need its help. I feel deeply privileged to serve on the Board and have immense respect for all staff and volunteers who provide daily compassionate care and go the extra mile for children and families. CHAS is aspiring to be more than the 4 walls of its hospices and I am passionate about bringing excellent practical and emotional support into family homes and communities.
