EMF Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2024

With distances from a Kids Kilometre to the full 26.2 mile Marathon, and everything in between there is something for everyone at Scotland's biggest running festival.

This popular and ever-growing marathon festival takes place in Scotland's capital city on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 May 2024 and continues through East Lothian offering stunning views and an unforgettable running experience.

There are two ways you can sign up; securing your own place or applying for a charity place (minimum sponsorship required).

Own place

Secure your own place by registering at www.edinburghmarathon.com and let us know you would like to run for CHAS.

You set your own sponsorship target and we'll be on hand to provide any fundraising support you may need as well as providing you with a CHAS running top or vest.

Email teamchas@chas.org.uk to let us know you have registered and let us know your contact details, if you would prefer a running tshirt or vest, and in what size (XS to XXL).

Charity Place

We would be delighted to purchase your position and welcome you to run for CHAS.

Should you wish a charity place, we require a non-refundable entry fee to show your commitment to run and for you to agree to raise the minimum sponsorship amount.

Your dedicated fundraiser will be here in the lead up to the event and beyond to provide you with all the support and materials you need to make it as fun and easy as possible.

• 10k - Saturday 25 May, £10 entry and £120 minimum sponsorship
• Full Marathon - Sunday 26 May, £25 entry and £500 minimum sponsorship
• Half Marathon - Sunday 26 May, £15 entry and £250 minimum sponsorship
• Hairy Haggis Relay - Sunday 26 May, £25 to enter a team and team total fundraising of £500
