Five new trustees appointed to Board
The new CHAS Board members are former Executive Director at Audit Scotland Antony Clark, former Group Chief Executive at Mactaggart & Mickel Group Ltd Ed Monaghan, Head of Finance for Reporting and Accounting at Heineken UK Joanne Hamilton, Senior Financial Control and Treasury Manager for global law firm CMS Nicola Buchanan and former Chief Financial Officer of M&G Investments Sean Fitzgerald.
Trustees are responsible for the overall governance and oversight of CHAS’s work. As a charitable company limited by guarantee, the charity’s trustees are also the directors of the company. Each Board member is committed to improving the lives of babies, children and young people with life-shortening conditions and their families.

These are brilliant trustee appointments, as we embark on major projects to deliver care to children and families across Scotland in new ways, and as we plan significant capital investment in our hospices. They will bring great skill and experience to the charity and I look forward to working with them.
Board members are appointed for a three-year term initially, with the option of reappointment.
