CHAS retail shops to re-open!

We’re delighted to announce that our shops in Duloch and Kinross will be re-opening – here’s information on opening times and where we can accept donations.

Thank you to everyone who has continued to support our CHAS retail shops during the pandemic, we are grateful for the items donated, the support we’ve received and your continued custom.

We appreciate many of our customers have been keeping their donations for us over the last few months and we do anticipate increased volume of donations for some time. Please call our shops in advance to make sure we can accept your donation.

We have contactless donation points at Duloch Park in Dunfermline and Bazaar 1, Kinross. Please call the shops in advance of your trip for advice on how to donate and avoid the disappointment of unnecessary trips.

DONATIONS GUIDANCE

We have some handy points to keep in mind when thinking about donating:

  • Please be aware that due to the high volume of donations we anticipate, we have limited capacity to accept donations in our shops
  • Once our daily capacity in the shops has been reached, we will sadly not be able to accept further donations that day and would ask customers to hold on to donations and return another day
  • When visiting any of our shops, please remember to wear a face covering. This is to keep customers, volunteers and staff safe
  • Please bring goods securely packed in disposable boxes or bags
  • We regret we won’t be able to return bags, boxes or tubs
  • We are unable to offer house collections
  • Please don’t leave donations outside the shops
  • And please be aware, we are unable to accept donations at Eastport in Dunfermline and Bazaar 2, Kinross

We understand it’s a difficult time for all, but please be respectful of our staff and volunteers. We very much appreciate your patience and thank you for in advance for your understanding.

We know our customers want new or nearly-new quality goods. Here’s what we can accept:

  • Clothing
  • Accessories
  • Jewellery
  • Bric-a-brac
  • Collectables
  • Toys
  • Jigsaws
  • Games

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept furniture, large household items, duvets and pillows, electrical goods and books.
