Volunteer gardeners are an integral part of the hospice garden team, planting, clearing leaves, cutting grass and making the garden a welcoming and relaxing environment for children and families.
Fundraising groups are the local face of CHAS in the community. We are looking for volunteers to join our fundraising groups across Scotland. The groups plan and deliver events and activities in the local community to raise vital funds for CHAS.
CHAS Schools Ambassadors are inspiring young people that promote the charity within their school, to peers and teachers and to the wider community.
CHAS collecting can representatives are responsible for placing and collecting fundraising cans from a range of sites including pubs, shops and cafes. People donate to CHAS every day through our network of collecting cans across Scotland. It’s vital that we collect this money, count and bank it so we can then spend the funds on developing our services for children and families.
Community Fundraising in CHAS has five key income streams and engagement volunteers help fundraisers raise more money by using their own interests, contacts and networks.
