Staff at CHAS

CHAS employs over 230 staff across 11 sites in Scotland, as well as around 80 bank relief workers within the hospices. CHAS is a great place to work and values its staff and is fully committed to the ongoing development and job satisfaction of every member of staff. Every person working for CHAS can make an equal contribution to the overall goal of the organisation.

We are dependent on the commitment and dedication of our staff for the successful running of the charity. Staff are supported on a daily basis by our wonderful network of volunteers across Scotland who have a huge range of skills and experience and make a valuable contribution to all areas of our day to day operation.

The CHAS Team

Our Care Teams are based in Rachel House Children’s Hospice in Kinross and Robin House Children’s Hospice in Balloch to provide care and support for children, young people and families. In addition, our home care service, called CHAS at Home, has staff located in both hospices and with a dedicated team in the North of Scotland. It offers support to families in their own homes when they need it most.

The Regional Fundraising Teams are based in Glasgow, Kinross, Aberdeen and Edinburgh, covering all areas in Scotland.

CHAS Trading has a small retail team based in Kinross who manage the CHAS Gift Shop, two second hand charity shops called Bazaar and mail order, as well as off-site sales.
 
The following teams are based in CHAS Head Office in Edinburgh: Chief Executive, Finance and Administration (IT, Finance and Facilities), Fundraising and Communications (Fundraising, Public Relations and Marketing) and Organisational Development (HR, Learning and Development and Voluntary Services).
