WORKING AT CHAS

The Children's Hospice Association Scotland currently employs over 180 staff at 10 sites throughout Scotland.

Rachel House our children's hospice in Kinross has a team of over 70 involved in the direct care of the children, young people and families and in support roles, ensuring the smooth running of the House. In addition, our CHAS at Home Team helps children and families in the Highlands by providing support to them in their own homes. The Team also provide homecare support to families across Scotland when they need it.

Robin House our children's hospice in Balloch currently has a team of over 60 involved in the direct care of the children and families and in support and management roles ensuring the smooth running of the house.

Our three Regional Fundraising teams are based in offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Kinross and Aberdeen.

CHAS Trading Limited has a small retail team and a Gift Shop, Mail Order business and two Charity Shops "Bazaar" and "Bazaar 2", based in Kinross. 

Based in our Head Office in Edinburgh are the Chief Executive, the Director of Finance and Administration, the Director of Fundraising and Communications, the Director of Organisational Development and the Medical Director. They are supported by the Administration, Finance, IT, Fundraising and Communications, HR and Voluntary Services teams.

In addition to our staff CHAS is supported by around 800 volunteers. CHAS volunteers with a huge range of skills and experience, make a valuable contribution to all areas of our day to day operation.
