| Rachel and Robin's Big Read |

We are asking young people to help us by reading for CHAS. It doesn’t matter what age you are or what you choose to read, everyone can get involved. Erin, Nicole and Euan all had great fun doing their big reads:
“Hey, my name is Erin and I'm from St Mungo's High School in Falkirk and recently I led a group from my school raising money for CHAS. We held our own ‘Big Read’ where everyone was sponsored to read a book all day and it was a huge success! We raised almost £2,000 for CHAS and everyone taking part had great fun. We provided a hot chocolate and some sweets for all our participants. We all felt honoured to have a member of CHAS visit our school to collect the cheque and there was an amazing sense of achievement when we heard how our money would help. I would recommend the ‘Big Read’ to anyone as a great way to raise money and just have a good time!” Erin McInnes, St Mungo’s High School
Every year my school picks a charity and we raise money for them. We were asked to think of a charity and I had all my CHAS stuff ready. My Headmaster, Mr McCulloch, was very pleased and CHAS was chosen as our charity. I picked CHAS because they help make children’s last few years really special and because I know someone who works for CHAS. Her name is Jacqui and one time she took me into Robin House and the children looked really happy! Me and the whole school had a great time and we all got stickers and certificates from CHAS. It felt really good that the charity I wanted got picked and everyone had fun raising all the money for the children at Rachel House and Robin House!” Nicole Hardcastle, Halfmerke Primary School
