Professional Development

CHAS is recognised as the centre of excellence in Scotland for palliative care for children.

CHAS is committed to:

Developing its staff to ensure that the service we deliver is child-centred and family-focused, whilst also acknowledging the latest developments in symptom management, from a multi-disciplined team approach.
Sharing its experience and expertise with other relevant agencies, both locally, nationally and internationally.
Raising awareness amongst professionals and families of the scope and nature of the needs of children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and the services that are available from CHAS and other health-care professionals, to include eventual ongoing bereavement support.
