CARRON VALLEY MOTORCYCLE CLUB ORGANISE A "WHEELY" GREAT SPONSORED RIDE!
The Easter Bunny arrived at Rachel House on two wheels this March!
We would like to say a big thank you to all involved with the Carron Valley Motorcycle Club (MCC) for the wonderful sponsored event they held on Easter Sunday 2008.
Nearly 80 bikes met up at the Falkirk Wheel and travelled to Rachel House, Kinross. On arrival 10 of the bikes were taken into the grounds of the hospice and some of the children were treated to a seat on the bikes - one lucky enthusiast even got to start one up! One of the riders ,Stewart Lyons, even rode wearing an Easter Bunny costume. Quite an achievement considering the temperature on the day!
South East Fundraiser, Amy Telford, accompanied the rally up to Rachel House and thoroughly enjoyed the event. She asked that her thanks be passed on to the head organiser of the rally, Alan King, and everyone else who made the event possible.
So far the Easter Motorcycle Run has raised almost £3000 - an absolutely fantastic amount! Everyone at the Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) would like to thank all those involved in making this event such a success and for raising such a terrific amount of money.
The biking bunny may even be on the roads again next Easter!
