Scottish Pool Champion Raises Cash for CHAS
Pat Holtz, the current Scottish Pool Champion has decided to take on a full year of fundraising for CHAS and Marie Curie Cancer Care throughout 2012.
Pat will be holding pool exhibitions at venues all across Scotland to raise money for his chosen charities with all participants at each event getting the chance to play the champion himself for £3.
The year of fundraising was kicked off on Tuesday 6 December at the Red Lion Pub in New Stevenston where Pat managed to raise £420 on the night and £210 was donated to CHAS. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event. Keep an eye on our events page for further pool exhibition dates.
If you would like to attend one of these pool exhibitions or if you are a landlord and would like to host an exhibition yourself, please get in touch with Pat Holtz directly who will be delighted to hear from you. Pat will also be offering personal coaching sessions at a rate of £25 per hour for anyone who would like to brush up on their skills.
