The Young Family
Before we had Ava, we'd always loved our holidays abroad. After Ava was born, our priorities changed. Our beautiful little girl requires 24 hour care and without our visits to Rachel House, there'd be no break for us.
Our visits are a chance for us to chill out and relax, not as Ava’s carers but as her Mum and Dad. We enjoy trips out and meeting other families in a similar situation to us and Ava loves getting involved in all the activities such as baking, painting and spending time in the amazing multi-sensory room. We really feel at home at Rachel House and can’t wait for our next visit.

Ava was in the bed opposite my daughter in the respiritory ward of Sick Kids 2 years ago. So lovely to see this photo, she touched my heart during the few days we were there. Libby and I hope you are all well xxx
