Volunteer Application
Before you become a volunteer with CHAS we go through a careful recruitment process to ensure we get it right for you and for CHAS.
Once you have applied for a role we’ll get in touch to invite you for an informal face to face chat where we’ll tell you more about CHAS; the role which interests you and answer any questions you might have. If you decide that you’d like to go ahead we’ll give you a volunteer pack which includes an application form asking for contact details of two referees. Once we’ve received your application we’ll then invite you for a second interview. We complete the recruitment process by contacting your referees.
If your role is based at one of our hospices we will probably also undertake a free Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check or update which we will tell you more about at our first meeting.
Check out our Volunteer Vacancies to see if there’s a role that would suit you or find our more about volunteering at CHAS.
