Volunteer Application

Before you become a volunteer with CHAS we go through a careful recruitment process to ensure we get it right for you and for CHAS.

Once you have applied for a role we’ll get in touch to invite you for an informal face to face chat where we’ll tell you more about CHAS; the role which interests you and answer any questions you might have. If you decide that you’d like to go ahead we’ll give you a volunteer pack which includes an application form asking for contact details of two referees. Once we’ve received your application we’ll then invite you for a second interview. We complete the recruitment process by contacting your referees.Volunteering robinhouse0042 photo by Sean Bell

If your role is based at one of our hospices we will probably also undertake a free Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check or update which we will tell you more about at our first meeting.

Check out our Volunteer Vacancies to see if there’s a role that would suit you or find our more about volunteering at CHAS.
