Rachel and Robin's Big Read

Join schools across Scotland by taking part in our sponsored fundraising challenge ‘Rachel and Robin’s Big Read’. Since it started in 2007 it has raised over £21,000.

Teachers at Strathaven Academy enjoyed a quiet afternoon when S1 pupils undertook their challenge. A sponsored silent book read raised over £1,400. Euan Clark described taking part:

Everyone enjoyed it – it was fun to spend time reading a book we wanted instead of doing school work. I read “Titanic”, which was a book I got at Christmas. This was a great way to spend our afternoon and it was for a good cause.
