School Fundraising
There are many different ways to fundraise as a school and help CHAS to support children and young people across Scotland.
Get in touch with your local fundraiser to arrange a CHAS speaker to visit your school assembly or class to inspire you. Register for our fundraising challenges CHAS Chill or Rachel and Robin’s Big Read or organise a school event.
For details, download our leaflet for schools: 'Get In To Fundraising'.
For younger children download our fact sheets, ‘About CHAS’ and ‘Questions about CHAS’.
Queen Anne High School in Dunfermline have been fundraising since 1994 and their events have included rowing one million metres in one day (the equivalent distance of Ullapool to London!) to raise over £8,500 for CHAS. Pupil Esther Nisbet, said:
I had never heard of CHAS until my school began supporting them as our main charity. I soon realised that other children the same age and younger than me were facing real difficulties in their lives. I really wanted to help and do my best to raise as much money as I could for CHAS.
Organising your own event contributes to your schools Curriculum of Excellence. Download our helpful guide: School events - Curriculum for Excellence.
