Corporate Charity Ideas

Sporting events

Why not organise a team at work and take on a sporting challenge for CHAS? Taking part in an event as a team is a great for motivation and team building. Check out our events calendar or let us know about an event of your choosing.

Cause-related marketing and affinity marketing

Publicly align your product or service with CHAS and enjoy the benefits of an association with Scotland’s only children’s hospice charity. This support could take the form of in-store merchandising or on-pack promotions.

Matched Giving

Matched Giving is a joint donation by staff and the company they work for. Employees make an individual donation, either a percentage of their salary or through taking part in a sponsored event. Your company matches the money raised by the employee, encouraging them in their efforts.

Gifts in Kind

A simple way to support us is to donate services or items to CHAS free of charge or at a reduced cost. One of our corporate supporters, Jenners at Lomond Shores donated a Persian rug to Robin House Children’s Hospice which was an item that we would not have been able to have without their generous gift.

Alternatively, you may be able to offer use of your premises free of charge or at a reduced cost to enable us to hold an event.

Recycling

Encourage staff to dig out good quality, unwanted items and collect them for us to sell in our charity shops. Read more about why your donated recycling is so important to us.

Sponsorship

Your company’s sponsorship of our materials can help us keep our costs down while promoting your company. Opportunities include:

  • Our supporters' newsletter CHAS Chat
  • Collecting Cans – these cans go out to retail outlets and offices throughout Scotland and are placed at receptions and point of sale. They allow supporters to donate their spare change to us and this soon adds up to a sizeable amount.
  • Banners – These are placed in full view of everyone at our events, they allow organisers to show that they are supporters of CHAS and that the money raised at the event will be coming to us.
  • CHAS leaflets – We distribute these widely throughout Scotland and give our supporters a brief insight into the fantastic work that is done in CHAS and how their money is spent once it has been donated.
  • Elements of our website.
