Families using Robin House can now take a walk through a beautiful Laburnum walkway, thanks to a significant gift from a supporter.

Laburnum, often referred to as 'golden rain', is a yellow pea-like flower which hangs in long chains. The flowers are resplendent in May and June and over time, will create a private walkway leading to a quiet reflective area for families.

The walkway was made possible thanks to Morag MacDougall Simpson who has left the legacy in memory of her late sister, Mary Campbell Cumming Simpson.

Roslyn Neely, Director of Fundraising and Communications at CHAS said: “The walkway will form an integral part of the new garden at Robin House, which has only been possible thanks to Morag’s special gift.”
