CHAS are urgently looking to recruit volunteers throughout the West of Scotland to become collecting can reps in their local area. The role involves uplifting, counting and banking CHAS collecting cans in your local area – to raise both money and awareness for CHAS.
CHAS Volunteer Can Rep Toni Valbonesi, who covers Coatbridge and Airdrie, urges others to get onboard, “If you would like guaranteed job satisfaction, would like to visit a variety of places and meet interesting people, then why not become a can rep for CHAS? It’s a rewarding role and its great to know that you are making a difference in the lives of the children and families who use Robin House, Rachel House and CHAS at Home.”
CHAS Fundraiser Nicola Gunn said: “Our can reps play a key role within the charity. They give their time to go out in their specified areas and maintain collecting cans in shops, restaurants and workplaces."
If you think you could give some of your time to volunteer for CHAS in this way please contact Nicola Gunn in the West of Scotland Fundraising Office on 0141 779 6185 or email
