CHAS, in partnership with the Aberdeen Evening Express, is searching for a Mum or Dad from the North East of Scotland, who stands out from the crowd as a hero, to be crowned the first ever CHAS Mum or Dad of the Year.


   
The competition in the Evening Express is open to everyone who has an AB postcode.

All you have to do is fill in the entry form telling us why your Mum or Dad deserves to win and send the form back to CHAS.

Once you have entered the CHAS Mum or Dad of the Year Competition, we would be delighted for you to take up a fundraising challenge for CHAS and raise as much sponsorship money as possible, by asking family, friends, neighbours, teachers or workmates. There will be a family prize for the fundraiser who raises the most money at the end of the competition. Don’t worry though – the success of your nominated Mum or Dad will not depend on the amount you raise.

Once you’ve entered the competition don’t forget to buy the Evening Express to read a selection of the best Mum or Dad stories and hear more about the work CHAS does.

The final selection of successful entries will be featured in the paper the week commencing 22 March when readers will be asked to vote for their favourite.

The finale of the competition will be a CHAS Mum or Dad of the Year Gala Evening where the overall winning Mum or Dad will be announced at Hilton Aberdeen Treetops on Sunday 25 April. Stay tuned for further details and how you can buy tickets to attend the event.
