At CHAS, we offer ongoing bereavement support to families for as long as they feel they need it. Everyone deals with the loss of a loved one in a different way, and we know that there are many different stages and manifestations of grief. CHAS makes its bereavement support accessible to those who have used one of our hospices, but it is also available, if appropriate, to those who have not. There is no waiting list – immediate help and support is available. The Bereavement and Family Support Team includes Social Workers, Chaplains, Child and Family Support Workers and the Activities Team. |
