CHAS would like to say a huge thank you to the primary two pupils of St Mirin’s Primary School who raised the fantastic sum of £450.60!

CHAS Fundraiser Nicola Gunn visited the class in March and delivered a CHAS primary school workshop where the pupils learned about Rachel House, Robin House and CHAS at Home.  The children then drew pictures of the hydrotherapy pool in Robin House.

Since the visit the pupils have made a big wall display in their school dedicated to CHAS with lots of beautiful artwork including dragonflies and photos of the children during their workshop.

CHAS are urgently looking to recruit volunteers throughout the West of Scotland to become collecting can reps in their local area.  The role involves uplifting, counting and banking CHAS collecting cans in your local area – to raise both money and awareness for CHAS.

Christine Rennie and Joe Gilmour who are both paramedics for the Scottish Ambulance Service – Clydebank Station, recently held a charity night in aid of CHAS at a local bowling club in Clydebank. 

They both worked tirelessly to sell tickets and secure raffle and auction prizes for the evening and with the kindness of some local businesses and organisations helping them out, all their hard work paid off and they raised the wonderful sum of £1,160.16.

We would like to say a huge thank you to the Rotary Club of Irvine for holding their annual Charity Am-Am Golf Tournament in aid of CHAS.
