Eaton Team Take on Garden Project at Robin House |

A team of volunteers from the Glasgow International Shared Service Centre Eaton returned to Robin House on Friday 11 June following a two day volunteering project.
Over 70 employees from Eaton took part in the garden project completed on the 8 and 9 June. Termed ‘Days of Caring’, the event is the first of its kind for the company outside of the USA.

A group of six friends from Dunfermline and Kincardine completed a fundraising walk for CHAS on Saturday 12 June, led by Heidi Johnston a student at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
The fundraisers, all of whom were sponsored for their efforts, made it to the 1,344 metre peak of Ben Nevis after a long, hard climb. Pictured here from left to right they are Michael Learmont, Suzanne Hayat, Heidi Johnston, Claire Beveridge, Jacqueline Anderson and Ryan Beaton.

Fundraising Pupils Raise Over £26,000 |

Fettes College smashed their £10,000 target for Rachel House Children’s Hospice and were delighted to present a cheque for £26,028 to CHAS fundraisers Jayne Forbes and Jon Heggie last week.

Adrian Cooper and nine friends are taking on the brave challenge of cycling from Land's End to John O’Groats in September 2010. This cycle is an extremely tough one and is the furthest possible distance in the British Isles.
They will begin their journey at Land’s End in the southwest of England, pedal their way through Cornwall, over Dartmoor and then head north along the border of Wales. The ten friends will continue through the Lake District and into Scotland via lochs and mountains. The journey will then take them to the North Coast finally reaching John O’Groats.

Sponsored Pyjama Walk Raises £500 for CHAS! |

The Winton Place Brownies in Kilmarnock took part in a sponsored pyjama walk on Friday 21 May raising a fantastic £500.
CHAS Volunteer, Mr John Gibb, went along to speak to the girls on Friday 11 June. John informed the Brownies of the work CHAS do and explained that their money would help families in Scotland who have children with life-limiting conditions.

CHAS would like to say a huge thank you to Mr John Baillie who set off to walk the West Highland Way on Saturday 12 June 2010.
Mr Baillie, from Inverness and pictured here, is being sponsored for his effort and hopes to raise as much money as possible for CHAS during the 95 mile walk.
