A group of online gamers are planning a fantastic fundraising event in aid of CHAS on 10 September at Forthview Suite, Easter Road Stadium, Edinburgh.
The group, who started to support CHAS last year, were inspired by Real Radio’s Bring a £ to work Day and hope to raise in excess of £5,000 for CHAS. This is the second event they have hosted; last year they raised an incredible £1,600 for our services.
As well as having our Grand Prize draw, auctions and other fundraising activities, there will be a buffet, disco and entertainment provided by top quality Entertainers.

Tiny tots and staff from Abbey Nursery, Paisley have raised over a £1,000 for CHAS during their sponsored stroll in aid of Robin House.
The sponsored stroll in Ferguslie Gardens involved all the children at the nursery whether it was on their own two feet or in buggies and prams. On their outing the children enjoyed exploring the gardens and learning about the season of summer.

An employee from the University of the Highlands and Islands (UHI) Executive Office in Inverness, who this year have chosen CHAS as their charity of the year, is taking on a tremendous fundraising challenge for CHAS.
Isla Cruden, pictured here paddling in the Adriatic Sea, has set herself the target of swimming 212 kilometres, the distance from Inverness to Rachel House in Kinross. The challenge, the equivalent to 8,480 lengths of a 25 metre pool, will be done in stages throughout the year. This means a commitment of swimming 40 lengths of the pool five days a week if Isla hopes to finish by her deadline of 10 December in time for the UHI Christmas party.
